Childhood Obesity Prevention

Childhood obesity is one major problem of every parents in the family. There are 15% of children being obese in the whole world. The high level of obesity is prone to sickness or even heart attack. The major cause of obesity is improper eating habits of many children. Too much eating without proper discipline is risky in the health of the children. So, these children must have effective ways on how to lose weight.
Child obesity is a serious problem to solve. If the child is fat, this child will normally encounter problems such as: depression, hormonal imbalances, joint problems and low self esteem. Moreover, if this obesity is carried in their adulthood, they have a higher tendency of having bowel cancer, high blood pressure, arthritis, diabetes and even stroke. In order to convince the child to prevent childhood obesity at a very young age is to encourage to join sports activities in the community, monitor dietary allowance and to encourage eating nutritious fruits and vegetables and join good weight loss programs and classes. Parents should have different healthy food choices that are available at home so that the parents will monitor the appetite of their child to be able to lose weight smartly.
